Privacy policy

This page describes the personal information the site handles and why. It also explains your choices, because you decide whether analytics runs.

Who is responsible

Digital Grove Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom, operates this site. It decides how the personal information described on this page gets used. If you have a privacy question, use the contact form and say what you need.

What the enquiry form collects

The form on the contact page asks for your name, phone number, postcode and the service you want. You may also add an address and notes, although both are optional. We collect only what you type into those fields, plus technical details such as your IP address, because we need them to limit spam and abuse.

We use this information to record your enquiry and to pass it to a bed bug professional who can contact you about it. We do not use it for anything unrelated to your request. We store enquiry details in a database hosted by Cloudflare, which also hosts this site.

Analytics and consent

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read. Consent defaults to denied, and the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all unless you choose Accept on the consent banner. If you choose Reject, no Google Analytics script is requested and no analytics cookies are set.

Your choice stays in your browser so the banner does not keep returning. However, clearing your site data resets it, and the banner then appears again. You can use that to change your mind at any time.

How long details are kept

We keep enquiry details only while we need them to handle your request and to keep reasonable business records. We do not sell personal information. If you ask us to delete your details, we will act on that request unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Asking for deletion or a copy

You can ask us to delete or correct your details, or to tell you what we hold. Send a message through the contact form and say what you need. Include the postcode you used, because it helps us find the right record.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Meanwhile, you keep your usual rights under UK data protection law, including the right to see and correct your data.
